Can a DUI be Expunged?

|

Under South Carolina law many first time convictions in Magistrate or Municipal Court may be expunged. An expungement is a legal process by which a Court will order the arrest and conviction records be destroyed.

DUI and DUAC offenses are not eligible for the expungement process. This means that those convicted of DUI or DUAC will face a permanent criminal record. This is even more reason to fight any South Carolina DUI or DUAC charge.

The Law Office of James R. Snell, Jr., LLC, provides representation to clients in South Carolina Expungement Law as well as DUI and DUAC Defense. To schedule a consultation with our office about your case contact (803) 359-3301 or 1-888-301-6004.
